FAQ

  • How many students does the teacher have?
    Our student to teacher ratio is; 1-teahcer to 6-students.
  • Are masks required?
    Yes. Makes are required for each class for both teacher and students. Children are able to adapt quickly, your child’s safety is our main priority, mask up.
  • What do you do when it rains?
    Playing in the rain and mud offers wonderful learning opportunities for children at this age. Some of our locations have picnic shelters that we use for extreme weather. Parents are notified by e-mail the morning of the class if there is a change.
  • Can I attend class if I have more than one child?
    Yes! We absolutely welcome siblings, as a matter of fact you are offered a 10% discount when enrolling a sibling.
  • Can I attend if I have a child who is under 12 months?
    Yes. We are a very family friendly program. Babies under 12 months are free.
  • What are the scheduled days off?
    We follow the main cities fiscal school year program. This includes federal holidays.
  • What is the makeup policy?

  • What is the Covid-19 policy?
    Every morning the teacher conducts a temperature check and sanitizes your child’s hand. If your child is exemplifying that they may be ill, you will be asked to be excused for the day.
  • What not to bring to class?
    Leave toys at home or in the car. We play with what we find in nature!
  • Does my child need to be potty-trained?
    No. Your child does not need to be potty trained, however, you are responsible for your child and their bathroom routine.
  • What qualifications do your teachers hold?
    Our teachers and assistants on our staff team meet the requirements set by the State of California. These requirements include education and health requirements for people working with small children. We also strive to provide our staff with continued education in the area of Early Childhood Education. Each staff member also undergoes an extensive background check, CPR and first aid certification.
  • How do I enroll in KiddoOne?
    Please refer to our Classes OR Camp for instructions on how to enroll.
  • Do parents have to attend?
    KiddoOne is a parent child preschool program and we ask that all parents participate as it is essential to the development of our students.
  • Does my child need to have their immunizations to attend KiddoOne?
    Yes, you are required to send in proof of immunization upon enrollment.
  • What is the child illness policy?
    The general rule of thumb is that children should not actively have a fever, diarrhea and be un-medicated at least 24hurs before attending class. Children who are exhibiting these will be asked to leave for the remainder of the class period to ensure that all students are safe.
  • What are the disciplinary practices?
    KiddoOne ensures that its teachers intersect and facilitate interaction based on the child’s developmental age level. Time-out is not used as studies have shown this method caused more harm to children. Fairness, consistency, empathy, and problem-solving skills are taught to our students to ensure they can become more well-rounded in self-management skills.
  • What are the hours of operation?
    Classes are Sunday-Monday from 10am-12pm Camp is Every other Sunday from 10am-3pm Feel free to contact us via the website and you will hear a response within 24hrs.
  • What is the absence policy?
    We do ask that there is at least a 12hr period before many missed classes, and you will be provided with make-up class instructions. We do understand that emergencies happen and ask you to call/email should an emergency occur.
  • What is the drop policy?
    If your child misses two consecutive weeks, we will try our best to contact you. If we do not hear a response back within 72 hours your child will be dropped from our program. Should this occur, you will not be refunded.
